With regards to material compatibility, the PAA Wipes have successfully passed testing on the most commonly used materials which are found in a healthcare setting.

Unfortunately, we cannot always be sure of the grade of material used by equipment manufacturers, therefore we can only present our findings based on research carried out.

Material Family
Material Tested
PlasticsPVC, Polyurethane, Polyethylene, LDPE, HDPE, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
RubberLatex rubber, Acrylic Rubber, Viscoelastic Rubber (Silicone), Polyurethane Rubber ,Natural Rubber, Nitrile Rubber
MetalsStainless steel, Stainless steel 304, Stainless steel 316, Galvanised steel
Dartex CoatingsP202S, P305S, P082S, P159S

During material compatibility testing with plastics, rubbers and metals, the most notable results were that some wear effects were visible but no apparent chemical effects on the exposed surfaces. There was no cracking, splitting or flaking observed.
