There have been studies conducted on QAC-based disinfectant wipes to review the residual activity when wipes are used on hard surfaces. The conclusion in these studies found that, assuming that disinfection is performed at least daily, residual bactericidal activity may continue until the next cleaning episode, depending upon what other factors (such as repeated touching and surface soiling) have on the surface. A forumulated QAC-based disinfectant delivered from a wipe has potential to exhibit a minimum of 24 hour residual bactericidal effect on surfaces*

To date no formal residual activity testing has been conducted on Clinell Universal wipes to include residual activity for the product however, as a QAC-based disinfectant the above conclusion could apply to the product. Please note that this pertains to residual bactericidal activity and not virucidal activity which, to this date, has not been verified.
