The formulation used in the PAA Wipes is designed to have a pH level as close to neutral (pH7) as possible as to prevent irritation of the skin and to increase compatibility.  The formulation itself is acid-based, but upon activation the water will provide a neutralisation effect which raises the pH level.

Whilst designed to be non-toxic to the skin, PPE should still be used when using wipes, or any product, which is not intended specifically for skin use.
